Chicago Area Mensa WeeM

10/16/2026

Guys, I can't help it. The Oompah Loompas saw how you STILL haven't registered for WeeM. I heard them writing this song:

Oompa Loompa doompety dear,
The deadline has come and the deadline is here.
You meant to sign up when the price was just right,
But somehow tomorrow became every night.

Now the event will still welcome you in,
Yet waiting has cost you a little chagrin.

Oompa Loompa doompety pay,
Early-bird savings have fluttered away!

Only you can save yourself from being mocked by Oompa Loompas! Today is the last day to register at discounted rate. Visit https://chicago.us.mensa.org/weem/register.php to get your Golden Ticket today.

A Golden Ticket is only valuable if you use it.

Friday is the deadline to register for WeeM at the discounted weekend rate of $150. Prices at the door will be higher, so why wait?

Join us for four days of chocolate, laughter, and more programs than you can possibly fit into one weekend. The hardest part won't be deciding whether to come. It'll be deciding what to do first. We'll have our pun-tastic costume contest, Epicurean Experience, Pretentious Drinking, Photo Booth, Saturday Night Dance, our well-stocked game room, and of course our lavish hospitality.

Won’t somebody please think of the children?

WeeM 50 offers nearly a full day of kid-friendly programming on Saturday, affordable weekend childcare for children around age 8 and younger, nightly Werewolf games, a well-stocked games room and, naturally, plenty of chocolate.

Best of all, the odds of being turned into a blueberry, sent down a garbage chute, or shrunk by a magical television remain remarkably low.

Volunteers are 37% more attractive and have 50% more fun. The great news is that now you can be part of this exclusive crowd by signing up at https://cam.ivolunteer.com/weem_2026

We especially need volunteers for the following shifts:

Set Up on Thursday
Tear Down on Sunday
Serve meals in Hospitality

The best part? Set Up and Tear Down won't interfere with any scheduled programs, so you can volunteer and still enjoy the program lineup

Speaker shepherd spots will be available next week after the program is finalized.
