Our team has been hard at work this week redoing the roof on the big house, and the results are truly beautiful. In West Michigan, good upkeep matters, and we’re grateful for every hand and hour put toward making this home stronger, safer, and ready to serve.

We had a great time last night at the Fremont Harvest Festival Parade! It was a joy to connect with neighbors, celebrate community, and share the hope that keeps us moving forward. Thank you to everyone who welcomed us along the route and made the evening so memorable.

What a full, wonderful weekend at The Shack!

Despite the cool rain over Robinson Lake, our hearts were warmed by all God did on campus. While the weather may have kept a few extra folks at home for our outdoor Southern Gospel Music Event under the pavilion, we are so thankful for everyone who came out to worship with us!

It was a joy to host:

All the individuals and families staying with us!

We pray that everyone who visited experienced the love of Jesus Christ and returned home refreshed and inspired. Thank you for spending your weekend with us. We hope to see you again soon!

What if the temporary experiences we create can have a lasting impact?

In this video, Rob Ribbe shares a little about Temporary on Purpose, an upcoming workshop at The Shack exploring how God uses retreats, camps, conferences, and other temporary experiences to renew, equip, and prepare people for what comes next.

Join Rob on October 24 at The Shack for a day of biblical insight, practical application, and meaningful conversation about using temporary experiences with greater purpose.

Watch Rob’s invitation, then join us at The Shack.
