Meet Sam Taminosian! Sam is new to our Chefs Collective line- up and will be cooking for y’all August 1st & 2nd!
We are excited to welcome him to the RubyJune!

Sam Taminosian is a Portland-based chef whose cooking is rooted in classical technique, seasonality, and a deep appreciation for the ingredients and people of the Pacific Northwest. Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to work alongside acclaimed chefs Gregory Gourdet and John Denison , experiences that helped shape his approach to thoughtful, ingredient-driven cooking.

Multiple times a day I walk this short path from our main house to the Inn kitchen and I never tire of this view of the gardens and our sweet icehouse. And now all the white roses are in bloom over the arbor. It’s simply beautiful ☀️

Guests ask us all the time, “do you all live on site?” Indeed we do! We live in the main front house so that we can be available for our guests when they need us. A few pics of our office, spare room and our main living area ✨ it’s a cozy sweet spot ☺️

Many of you have been asking about our Chefs Collective summer dinner series and when those tickets will be announced.

We are doing things a bit differently this season than in years past…
When we began the chefs series very few chefs dinners were happening in the Gorge. Now, our market has gotten far more saturated with coursed dinners and we feel the demand has softened. Additionally, we had begun hosting year round which also changed the push for summer ticket sales.

That being said, I assure you, WE WILL STILL BE HOSTING SUMMER DINNERS! We are in discussion with some new chefs and already have a date for a June 27/28 dinner but haven’t released details or tickets yet- we will very soon-so stay tuned!

We are also looking at July 11/12 for a dinner with another new chef as well!

We will update dinners as they are confirmed and we have all the info from the chefs! We promise!

We are so very grateful for your ongoing support and we can’t wait to host you all on the blooming courtyard this summer!
