George Washington 1776 #337 held a Special Communication on May 20, 2025 where Brother Demetri Meek and Brother Ruben Aquino were conferred the Fellowcraft Degree. It is a special event to help bring a Brother to more light. Brothers Demetri and Ruben shared their joy with the experience and the entire lodge was grateful to be there to do their part!

A great night at Lodge tonight - including lots of firsts! Our Senior Warden, Rod LeFlore, filled in as Master tonight - his first in the east. A couple of Brothers served for the first time in officers chairs - Brothers Michael and Curt. And, it was our first time in our newly remodeled lodge room! We also had visitors from Daylite Lodge.

Wishing you and yours a happy, and safe, Independence Day tomorrow!

Outside of George Washington 1776 Lodge in Whitefish Bay, the family, friends, and brothers of the lodge had a marvelous cookout. Worshipful Master Jerry grilled brats, hamburgers, and hotdogs. The weather on the evening of Tuesday, June 19, our regular lodge night, was cool and comfortable.

Twenty brothers from Geo. Washington Lodge gave a lovely Masonic Service for our own long-time chaplain, Br. David Reber (age 80) at the beautiful Episcopal All Saints' Cathedral in downtown Milwaukee on Juneau Ave. Br. Tyler Kristopeit over-saw our Masonic Service. Many from the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus sung at the magnificent Requiem Eurcharist. Br. Tony Busalacchi, Chair of the George Washington Lodge Trustees (pictured with Br. Kristopeit), recently celebrated his 90th birthday. Members of the lodge were reminiscing of being at Dave and Polly's home studying for degrees, of enjoying music played in his neighborhood by those dealing with the struggles of Covid confinement, of his great bass voice, and how we wished he would be with us.
