Oh, September! ✨🌾🍃🍂

We call this month “the secret season” because the lake temperatures are still warm, the days can be crisp in the mornings and 75F by solar noon, and the evening angles of light are out of this world as the leaves start to change to gold.

Also, it’s considerably less crowded everywhere than peak summer!

Swimming, snorkeling, paddling, and more— right outside your door— in some of the cleanest, clearest headwaters of the country 😱

Every Tuesday, Depot Park transforms (a 10 min walk from our front door at Good Medicine Lodge ) into a magical cozy community of local farmers, food trucks, local musicians and artists, and kids playing across the lawn. It’s a favorite for locals and tourists alike, and what small town dreams are made of! ☀️
