Homestake Lodge

Homestake Lodge Homestake Lodge is a year-round destination located just under the Continental Divide east of Butte in SW Montana.

In the winter, we Pisten Bully groom 37km of trails. During the spring, summer, and fall we stay busy with retreats, weddings, family reunions, and youth camps. Overnight accommodations are available and include the main lodge bunkrooms, a cabin, and a yurt. Trails are always open to hike, mountain bike, or run/walk during the summer months.

Can’t wait to ski with you!

Enjoy FREE cross-country skiing at Homestake Lodge during SNöFLINGA! Check in at the lodge before hitting the trails—no trail pass fees are required. Please bring your own equipment. Lunch and other treats will also be available at the lodge.

Orion overlooking our snowmaking efforts. We’ll have Nordic Ski team Saturday morning on the manmade loop. The rest of the trails are closed, but we can offer beginner lessons on the learn to ski hill. Soups and crepes in the Lodge this weekend. No dogs on trails at this time.
