Enjoy FREE cross-country skiing at Homestake Lodge during SNöFLINGA! Check in at the lodge before hitting the trails—no trail pass fees are required. Please bring your own equipment. Lunch and other treats will also be available at the lodge.

Orion overlooking our snowmaking efforts. We’ll have Nordic Ski team Saturday morning on the manmade loop. The rest of the trails are closed, but we can offer beginner lessons on the learn to ski hill. Soups and crepes in the Lodge this weekend. No dogs on trails at this time.

Come ski with us!

Come to Homestake Lodge for a free nordic skate ski lesson. Free equipment rentals and lessons will be available for use on our extensive trail system. Hearty soup and homemade rolls as well as cookies, hot drinks, beer, and wine will be available for purchase in the lodge.

This event has a $5 sign-up fee which is refundable if requested upon arrival at the lodge. Register at https://snoflinga.org

Notice: Skate skiing is recommended for those with prior Nordic skiing experience. If you are new to cross-country skiing, please do not register for skate skiing lessons. Participants must be 12 years or older.

Snoflinga and Ability Montana have teamed up to ensure people with disabilities can participate in the activities. This includes providing equipment for mobility needs and/or adaptive coaching methods.

Rolled part of Busy Beavers and PistenBully groomed a half kilometer loop around the Lodge. We did some shoveling so there’s a pretty solid out and back on BB. Where we didn’t roll is some adventure skiing - good stretches and some bare spots, so use caution. $10 trail passes for this weekend. Soups and crepes in the Lodge. No dogs on trails yet.
