We’re celebrating the long weekend with TWO full days of activities, and we’d love for you to join us! 🎉 Whether you’re camping with us, visiting family and friends, or stopping out for one of our public events, there’s plenty happening at Twin Acres this weekend!

📅 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5TH

🛍️ 9AM–2PM | Annual Flea Market & Campground-Wide Garage Sales
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Come browse sales throughout the campground and hunt for some hidden treasures and great deals!

🚂 4PM | Twin Acres Express Train Ride
Hop aboard! Just $1 per ride. Line up at the playground.

🎣 6–8PM | Labor Day Fishing Derby
All ages and experience levels are welcome! Registration is $2 per person and includes a FREE hot dog! 🏆 Trophies for our young & old anglers, take-home crafts for the kids, door prizes and plenty of fishing fun!

🎶 9–11PM | LIVE MUSIC – Middle Age Arcade
We’re excited to welcome Middle Age Arcade to Twin Acres! 🎸 Come hang out by the playground and enjoy live music to finish off your Saturday night!

📅 SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH

🥞 9–10:30AM | FREE All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast
Pancakes and coffee are on us! Bring your own place settings and syrup. Dine in or take it to go. Donations are appreciated but never required. ❤️

🍫 3PM | Kids Candy Bar Bingo
Bring a full-size candy bar to play — and everyone goes home with candy! Candy bars will also be available for purchase.

🎱 7PM | Bingo
All ages welcome! Cards are $1.25 each with 10 games + Coverall. Concessions will be available, too!

🛺 9PM | Golf Cart Parade
One of our favorite Twin Acres traditions! Decorate those carts, turn on the lights, bring some treats to toss and join the parade around the campground!

🎟️ PLUS — 50/50 tickets will be sold ALL WEEKEND, with the winner drawn Sunday night at Bingo!

🏁 GOLF CART OBSTACLE RACE RESULTS! 🏁

Another Golf Cart Obstacle Race is in the books, and this one was SO much fun to watch! 😂 We had 8 brave teams take on the course — with blindfolded drivers relying completely on their passengers to guide them through all the obstacles. 😳🤣

And this race came down to a TIE! Both of our top teams finished with a final time of 2 minutes, 16 seconds! ⏱️

So how did we break the tie? Well… with p**p, of course. 💩😂

One of the obstacles had teams collecting p**p emojis and tossing them into the toilet, with successful shots taking seconds off their time. 🚽💩

🥇 1ST PLACE — 22 p**ps in the potty! 🏆
🥈 2ND PLACE — 15 p**ps in the potty!

Apparently potty accuracy really DOES matter when a championship is on the line. 😂

Thank you to all 8 teams who took on the course and everyone who came out to watch and cheer them on! Between the blindfolded driving, passenger directions, flying p**p and plenty of laughs, our Golf Cart Obstacle Race was once again VERY entertaining!

🏁 POWER WHEELS RACE RESULTS! 🏁

Our little racers hit the track today for the Kids Power Wheels Race, and they did NOT disappoint! 😂🏎️💨 There were fast turns, big smiles, a little questionable driving, and plenty of cheering from the sidelines!

🏆 Congratulations to our winners!

Way to go, racers!! 🎉🏁 And a huge shoutout to ALL the kids who took a turn behind the wheel today — you made this one SO much fun!

🏎️ 3:00 PM — KIDS POWER WHEELS RACE
Calling all little racers! Kids will take turns racing through our pre-made course, competing for the fastest time!

🏆 Fastest racer wins a TROPHY!
👧🧒 Children only — 100 lbs. or under
🚗 Bring your own Power Wheels or use one of ours!
⚡ Our two loaner Power Wheels are modified to run on 18V batteries.

No Power Wheels? No problem — kiddos can still race!

🛺 5:00 PM — ADULT BLINDFOLDED GOLF CART OBSTACLE RACE

Grab a partner and see how well you REALLY communicate!

💵 $10 per cart/team
🛺 Must provide your own golf cart
🙈 Driver is BLINDFOLDED
🗣️ Passenger must navigate the driver through the obstacle course
👥 2-person teams
🪪 Adults only — driver must have a valid driver’s license
💦 There’s a chance there might be a splash zone...

🌺🌴 ALOHA, SUMMER! 🌴🌺

What a way to celebrate one of the last big weekends of summer break at Twin Acres! ☀️💃

Last night the clubhouse was filled with music, dancing, laughter, leis and plenty of fun at our Luau Dance with DJ Magic Mike Mitchell! 🎶🌺

Between the limbo contest, tropical outfits, kids tearing up the dance floor and friends enjoying a summer night together, memories were surely made — and we hope you had an absolute blast! ❤️

As the kids head back to school and those carefree summer days start winding down, we're not saying goodbye to camping season… we're just trading summer nights for fall camping days! 🍂🏕️

There is still plenty of camping, fun and memory-making ahead at Twin Acres as we head into one of our favorite times of the year. 🍁

Thanks for helping us send summer break out with a bang!
