โ€‹Get ready for an exciting weekend, campers! Our highly anticipated Cardboard Boat Regatta is happening this Saturday, June 6th, 2026!

โ€‹Here is everything you need to know about the schedule and some important weather updates:

โ€‹๐ŸŒง๏ธ Weather & Regatta Update

โ€‹Race Time: The regatta is scheduled to kick off at 2:00 PM.

โ€‹Boat Inspections: All registered boat teams must submit their boats for inspection one hour before the race starts (by 1:00 PM) along the pond.

โ€‹Keep an Eye on the Sky: We have rain in the forecast. We do not plan on canceling the regatta, but we may need to delay the race until the weather lets up. Please keep checking our page for live updates!

โ€‹Bingo: Please note that there is no bingo this weekend.

โ€‹9:00 PM โ€“ Golf Cart Parade: The rain won't stop this tradition! The golf cart parade is still on for Saturday night. Light 'em up and join the fun!

We're excited to bring a brand-new activity to Twin Acres Campground this Fourth of July weekend!

Join us on Saturday, July 4th at 4:00 PM in the Clubhouse for our Build-A-Best Friend Workshop, where kids can create their very own stuffed furry friend! Each participant will hand-stuff their new buddy, place a special wish star inside, receive a birth certificate, and take home their new best friend. โค๏ธ

While this weekend marks the unofficial start of summer and a time for families to gather around the campfire, we want to pause today to remember what Memorial Day is truly about.

โ€‹Today is dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Itโ€™s because of their courage, selflessness, and devotion to duty that we are able to gather in peace, share laughs with our families, and enjoy the freedoms we hold so dear. We remember them, we honor them, and we are forever grateful.

โ€‹We also want to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to all of our amazing campers who spent the holiday weekend with us. It was a beautiful weekend filled with great company, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off the season. Thank you for making our community so special.

โ€‹As you pack up today or enjoy the rest of your afternoon, please join us in keeping the families of our fallen heroes in your thoughts and prayers.

โ€‹We had an absolute blast at Candy Bar Bingo earlier today. Looking through these photos, you can see just how locked-in everyone was on those cards! A huge shoutout to the kids who hit the jackpot and won big. ๐Ÿฅณ

โ€‹Don't worry if thier card didn't hit a full house, thoughโ€”around here, everyone is a winner! Nobody left empty-handed, and everyone went back to their campsites with a little something sweet.

โ€‹Weโ€™ve still got plenty of holiday weekend fun left to go, but this was definitely a sweet highlight! ๐Ÿซ
