Spring is a special time on the ranch. The sunshine feels a little warmer, the days start getting longer, and the pastures slowly begin turning green again.

This time of year also means calving season. Newborn calves wobble along beside their mamas, exploring the world for the very first time. It’s one of the sweetest sights — little calves stretching their legs, napping in the sunshine, and staying close to the herd.

There’s something peaceful about ranch life in the spring. Quiet mornings, fresh air, wide open views, and the simple rhythm of life starting anew.

Prior to being an AirBnB, Lazy T-5 Lodge was our grandparent's home. We have so many wonderful Christmas memories in this house--lutefisk & lefse, a wild game of spoons, cheese fondue in our cousin's hair, and too many more to mention. ♥

As we started down this endeavor, we wanted the Lodge to be a place that continued these kinds of memories, but for our guests.
