Spirit of the Mountain Lodge is located in Whittier, North Carolina. Located on one of the mountains between Sylva and Cherokee, the Lodge has a gorgeous vista and peaceful setting. Surrounding the lodge are acres of forest so that wildlife abounds. There is an hour hike that goes up to the ridgeline.Nearby is access to rafting, fishing, camping, as well as copious opportunities for shopping. Easi

ly cook your own meals or visit a local restaurant in a nearby town. The Lodge is owned by Nancy Hopp and has a welcoming atmosphere.

Spirit of the Mountain Lodge will be undergoing a transition. Starting Nov 1, most of the Lodge will rented out. There will be a two bedroom one bath apartment available. Give us a call if you want to visit the mountains.
