Wichita Marriott was honored to sponsor EWI of Wichita's Reading Rally 2026! Students enjoyed hearing Parker the Paramedic and the Helpful Day, part of WSU Tech's Tech Tykes series that promotes education and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) programs for our future workforce.

Students at Colvin Elementary enjoyed a copy of the book, a pizza party, free school supplies, T-shirts from US Logo, Inc., and smile kits from Delta Dental of Kansas. What an inspirational, fun day spreading literacy in our community together! 🫶

A big CONGRATULATIONS is in order. Our Taylor is a Wichita Business Journal Young Professionals nominee! 👏🎉

As our Group Sales Manager, Taylor helps book and manage conferences, associations, government groups, sports teams, and "just about anything else that involves a lot of people, hotel rooms, meeting space, and an impressive number of emails," she says.

When asked about recent challenges in the industry, Taylor said, "Government funding and association budgets have definitely been a challenge. When budgets get tighter, we have to get creative and find ways to deliver the same great experience while being more strategic with spending. In hospitality, we're always looking for ways to do more with less."

We're proud and honored to have Taylor's organizational skills, drive, and problem-solving expertise to strengthen our team. Help us congratulate our talented Taylor! ✨
