We invite you to come and enjoy the retro inspired style of our accommodations—from our guest rooms to our largest three-bedroom townhouse. Our recent renovations blend the classic mid-century architecture of the Wildwoods with modern conveniences, like wireless internet and a complete fitness center complete with steam room. At the center of the Shalimar is the spacious pool area, open late and offering sun-drenched southern exposure for you while the kids enjoy the diving board and slide.

🌊 A Quick Update from Shalimar Resort

We’ve received a few questions following the recent coastal storm and some of the dramatic flooding videos circulating on social media.

We’re happy to report that Shalimar Resort is just fine! The area around our property saw little to no flooding, and we experienced no storm damage.

Many of the videos showing significant flooding — including boats traveling down streets — were taken in back-bay areas, which are much more prone to coastal flooding during storms.

Wildwood Crest can look very different from one area to another during a coastal flooding event, and thankfully, our neighborhood was largely unaffected.

Shalimar is safe, dry, and ready to welcome you! ☀️🌴

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from the Shalimar Resort! ☀️🌊

And just like that, the unofficial end of summer is here!

What an incredible Summer 2026. A huge THANK YOU to our amazing staff and all of our wonderful guests who made this one of our busiest and most memorable summers yet. ❤️

But around here, September is still summer. 😎 The weather is beautiful, the beach is quieter, the lines are shorter, and the kids are back in school. Midweek is the perfect time for a peaceful Shore getaway.

And there’s still plenty happening on the weekends, including Car Show / Irish Weekend September 25 & 26! 🚗🍀

Summer isn’t over until we say it is. 😉 See you in September!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday. Due to the extreme weather conditions we are experiencing, we will be staying home today and our offices will be closed. Our reservation systems are up and running, but those looking for help with existing reservations or deposits are asked to leave a voicemail which we will get to on Monday.
