Sea Gull Motel

June has always been a great month to visit the Wildwoods, especially when we made our visit to the Sea Gull Motel on the 2025 Hotel Tour! A Wildwood icon, the Sea Gull was a staple we couldn’t wait to experience for ourselves. Like many locations on the island still to this day, the Sea Gull remains owned and operated by the same family, 3 generations in! That family touch is extended to you during your stay at this beautiful facility; incredible cleanliness and comfort coupled with warm and friendly staff that helps make your visit unforgettable.

WWHT visited the Sea Gull once again as it was crowned the Return Visit Winner for this year’s Hotel Tour. Each time we have visited, we’ve been presented with amazing photo opportunities to capture here; it has become one of our favorite locations to photograph. We cannot thank the family members and staff of the Sea Gull enough for their hospitality and continued support of the Wildwood Hotel Tour, we are truly blessed…

Beach House Motel Wildwood NJ

Kicking off our 2025 Hotel Tour, we got an early start at the beautiful Beach House Motel. Formerly the Lu-Fran, the Beach House property underwent an extensive renovation and reopened as a stunning year-round facility! Although still being at the crossroads of the offseason and preseason, the motel was perfect for our visit and we couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. The number of year-round facilities in the Wildwoods are increasing, which gives travelers a broader selections of options depending on their needs.

Like all of our visits prior (and after), we were very satisfied with this facility and would gladly recommend it to anyone asking!

Waikiki Oceanfront Resort: Wildwood Crest, NJ

Concluding the 2024 Hotel Tour was our visit to Wildwood Crest’s legendary Waikiki Inn. Featured in October 2024, the Waikiki welcomed us with a beautiful oceanfront suite and great postseason vibes with some remnants of summer still present. As with each location we’ve visited, friendly staff made us feel right at home and comfort was unmatched!

The Waikiki would end up winning the Return Visit vote at the end of that season, with our returning visit taking place in May 2025. This location has truly been one of our most memorable visits, and we are glad to have experienced it!

Aqua Beach Hotel

This week begins a new T10T series, revisiting our second set of Featured Locations numbers 11-20. Visited in August 2024, we made a much-anticipated visit to the Aqua Beach Hotel in Wildwood Crest.

In the height of summer, Aqua Beach provided us with a great location; an oceanfront room, easily accessible rooftop, and beautiful pool/jacuzzi all a few short steps away from the beach and boardwalk. Like many of our visits so far, this was a facility we always wanted to visit; it certainly did not disappoint!

Olympic Island Beach Resort

Two years ago in September 2024, we made a visit to the Olympic Island Beach Resort in Wildwood Crest. Staying for just one night after Firemen’s Weekend, we got to experience another great Wildwoods destination with an oceanfront room and incredible views all-around! Like our previous visits and each one after, Olympic Island Beach did not disappoint; comfort and overall quality were absolutely paramount at this facility. Even though we were only here for one night we absolutely loved our stay!
