With great gratitude I’m sharing this letter with you from long-time owners Lisa and Chris.
Dear Marlane Family,
We are here in North Wildwood for the summer and believe us—we are really enjoying retirement! After 41 years, it feels pretty strange and yet wonderful to be tourists. We can actually just go to the beach and stroll the Boardwalk whenever we want. We stopped by the Marlane recently and got to see a few of you, which was great. And wow, the place looks completely transformed! We got a full tour, and they did an amazing job. It makes us happy to know the Marlane will be around for a long time, and that it’s still the same clean, family-friendly place it has always been. It was also just so wonderful to see Giselle, Teresa, and Nanny are still there too.
Jim, Janet, and John were kind enough to tell us to visit anytime (and they might regret that, lol). We are always walking around town and often find ourselves near the Marlane. My Dad, Jerry, will be staying with us soon and we’ll try to bring him by to say hello. He is doing well too. We miss you all, but we are 100% happy with our decision. We know change can be hard, but if you haven’t booked your stay yet, please give the new owners a chance. They are good people who care about the Marlane. Thanks to them for letting us "hijack" the page for a minute to share an update. Hope to see more of you this summer!
