Our last guests at Park Ave South were all the way from Kansas! They were absolutely amazing and reminded us of why we love hospitality. I swear they were better hosts than me. 😂 They left us a tiny bouquet of wildflowers with a sweet note and and left the toilet paper roll looking like it was a fancy hotel. Love them, and hope they'll come see us again!

We just wanted to give a big shout out to the companies we've worked with over the last few weeks. When a wind storm blew a bunch of shingles off our Park Ave property, True North Construction fit us in and gave us a beautiful new roof. It looks fantastic and we appreciate the quick, clean work. While we had it closed to guests we had Lavalla sand and gravel bring in a load of black dirt to help level out the yard and help the grass grow in. Around the same time we needed an emergency plumber come fix a clog at Bad Rabbit. On a Sunday. Benny Tesmer answered the call and came to our rescue. We discovered a belly in the sewer line and a possible break. After that guest checked out we had Lake Area Construction come in and dig out the old line and replace it. They did a fantastic, professional job and were able to time it in-between guests. I was so impressed with their work.
We weren't happy to need all this work done, but so grateful for the professional, competent companies we hired. Thank you!

I could cry. I'm so glad these guys are here getting it done, and I know it will all get put back together, but the destruction is hard to watch.

Sad times for Bad Rabbit Resort. After the recent Sunday morning emergency plumber visit, we were told we had a sag in the line and a spot with a possible break. We were left with 2 options. Business as usual and hope the clog was a one time thing, or dig up the line and replace it. We opted to do the hard thing now and ensure our guests don't have plumbing issues in the future. Of course, the line goes under the deck so we had to take every board off and clear a path. Huge thanks to and for all the help, couldn't have done it without you! Follow for updates!
