The Grand Canyon is one of those places where “let’s go for a hike” can mean very different things.

Stay on the rim for big views without committing your whole day, head below it on Bright Angel or South Kaibab, or save Hermit for when you’re ready for something rougher and quieter.

One thing worth knowing before you start: hiking down is the easy part. The climb back out can take about twice as long, and the park recommends checking current trail conditions, weather and water availability before you go.

Pick the trail that matches the day you actually want to have. 🏜️

Meet Camp Hall: part b**r hall, part game room, part gathering place.

It’s the social hub of Trailborn Grand Canyon, the place to come back to after a day at the canyon for a drink, a bite, and a little friendly competition. There’s shuffleboard, darts and bingo, plus a rotating lineup of happenings like movie nights, live music and square dancing.

It’s also where we kick off Trailborn Après Hour in the evening from 5–6, with a complimentary cocktail or mocktail, a light bite, and tips from our team for whatever you’re getting up to next.

And if you’re traveling with a crew, Camp Hall doubles as our largest gathering space, with a built-in stage, dedicated bar and room for up to 190 people.

Basically: go see something very big. Come back and play a very competitive game of bingo.

September 25 is a particularly good night to do it. The moon will be nearly full, giving us impressive views of the lunar landscape through the telescope, while Saturn will be shining in the evening sky, rings and all.🪐

Join us at Trailborn Grand Canyon with Evan Thibodeau of Flagstaff Stargazing for an evening exploring Northern Arizona’s night sky through constellation storytelling and incredible telescope views, all without leaving the hotel. 🌠

And don’t worry about waiting for a moonless night. There’s plenty worth looking up for. We’re keeping groups small so everyone gets time at the telescope, plenty of chances to ask questions, and a closer look at what’s happening overhead.

Oktoberfest is coming to Camp Hall. 🍻

Join us September 26 from 12-5 PM for an afternoon of local b**r, live music, and plenty of reasons to stick around a while.

We’ll be pouring with Grand Canyon Brewing, Historic Brewing Company - Local Craft B**r and lumberyardbrew, with live music from 1-4 PM. Bringing the kids? Drink tickets can be used for root b**r floats, too.

Entry is free. Drink tickets are $5 each with a two-ticket minimum purchase.
