Meet Garvey Family Wedding Barn — just down the road from us here at Country Hermitage! If you've ever dreamed of a barn wedding under the Northern Michigan sky (yes, even the Northern Lights have made an appearance! ✨), this is the place.

They're already booked up for weddings this year, but they do have some openings for 2027 if you're planning ahead. 💍

Pearl's New Orleans Kitchen knows how to win hearts with Green Tomato Caprese 💚 Crisp fried green tomatoes and fresh tomatoes are layered with fresh mozzarella, then finished with basil pesto, olive oil, and balsamic for a bold bite that keeps guests coming back. 😋

🫐This morning Chef Eric turned the very last of Northern Michigan’s blueberry harvest into these gorgeous hand pies.

🌳The blueberries came straight from Altonen Orchards Farm Stand just outside Elk Rapids — we couldn’t let the season end without one more taste.
