I hope the neighbors are heavy sleepers, because our dogs aren’t! Usually they go out, come back for breakfast and go back out for a bit.

This morning on the return trip out after breakfast, they were barking their heads off. We look outside, and they are at the base of a huge pine tree, one on each side of a bucket, barking their butts off. Don said they have some thing cornered.

He went to grab his shoes, I’m still watching, and I see a lil nose poke out and hiss at Daisy, I’m thinking maybe an opossum.

Don goes out, grabs the scoop he cleans up the dog waste with, scoops up a baby opossum and put it over the fence. At this point the dogs stop barking. I went and watched out the kitchen window and after a few minutes, I see the little thing scurry across Willis Road, luckily he made it safely.

Hope the dogs didn’t wake anybody up , sorry neighbors!

We bought the house gutted, no ceilings, only interior walls were the plaster ones in the 1800’s section of the house. No plumbing, furnace, no duct work, no wink was insulation … silly me…. I thought 3-4 years we’d be done.

13 years later and here we are… almost done.

We don’t tend to try to engage the spirits if it is just us here. We do our thing and we leave them in peace to do their thing.

This morning I was in the bathroom and Don yells from the living room, did you just call for me. I yell back no. He said he heard a woman’s voice calling out from like the dining room area. She said something like, come here.

Wasn’t me, and I didn’t hear the voice.

Wanted to welcome our new followers and say HI to those who have been following for a while!

We are happy spring is here. We are deciding what projects we are doing this year. Actually after 13 years of renovations I just tired and want to be finished!

Don is going to continue with the porch. Laying new wood floor and choosing and installing decorative trim. He also is extending the side driveway to the garage.

I’m getting pricing to do metallic epoxy in my hypnosis office in the basement, and storage cabinets in that room as well. Maybe epoxy on the entry too… we need storage and closets!

At this point those projects, and the last hall upstairs, drywall and wood floor and paint, and renovating the both sets of stairs, and lots and lots of trim and baseboards and we are pretty much done.

I hope you are enjoying spring as much as we are!

We’ve had many investigations over the last 13 years. I know lots of things happen , personal experiences, that we never hear about.

We occasionally have paranormal investigations for family and close friends. I was talking to a cousin last week who was at either our very first, or possibly the second F&F investigation.

She told me how several people were upstairs in the area that is now the laundry room. She heard a voice behind her, and turned around to remind another person in the group that was rather chatty they they weren’t suppose to be talking. He said it wasn’t me, and she realized it was a woman’s voice not a man’s voice. Another young woman who was down the hall near the top of the stairs asked if she heard it too? My cousin said yes, and repeated what she heard. The other lady said I heard the same thing!

Later they were in the basement, back in Ed’s room. She said I must have been seeing movement in my peripheral vision, over by the door. I looked and saw a small child’s face peaking around the door, but very low, like they were squatting or laying on the floor. Then they pulled back , and a few seconds later peeped around the corner again!
