The Onyx Oasis was created to be a quiet little escape where you can slow down, recharge, and still be close to some of North Florida’s best adventures. 💧

Devil’s Den, Blue Grotto, Micanopy, Gainesville, Ocala… adventure by day, cozy oasis by night. 🤎

✨ Meet the face behind Onyx Oasis!

Hi, I’m Catherine (but most people call me Cat 👋).

It’s been a while since I introduced myself, and so much has changed since I first started this journey.

In 2022, after working as a travel Respiratory Therapist during the COVID-19 pandemic, I purchased Onyx Oasis. Those years changed my perspective on life and reminded me just how precious our time together really is.

Looking back, I realize Onyx was never just about owning a vacation rental. It was about creating a place where families and friends could slow down, reconnect, explore nature, and make memories they’ll carry with them long after their trip ends.

If you’ve been following along for a while, thank you. 🤍 If you’re new here, welcome! I’m so happy you’re here, and I can’t wait to share more adventures, hidden gems, and behind-the-scenes moments with you.
