It’s almost the end of May, and our chickens are still sending us on egg hunts. We thought Easter was over! At this point, we can’t decide if the Easter Bunny is extremely early… or just really, really late. 😂

Today’s the day we’re packaging and freezing our pasture raised chickens. They were humanely raised with no antibiotics, steroids, or added medications.

We still have a few available at $4.19 per pound. (average weight is 5.0 lbs)

Howdy yall! It's been a busy couple of months here on the farm. Our last batch of hatching eggs only yielded 8 chics. But the good news is, they are all alive and thriving. The gal I got them from graciously replaced those that didn't hatch! So, here we grow again!!! We have 22 in the incubator and today is the day. Anyone want to play along with "how many will we get" ? A dozen free eggs to the first one to get it right. I'll be posting a few other updates over the next few days, since I've hurt my back and there's not much else I can do. This getting old business ain't no fun.
