If I had a dollar every time someone asked if our flowers are real or not…

I can usually tell the difference right away (it comes with the job), but if you haven’t seen high-quality silk flowers up close, it’s not always obvious.

While we were tearing down this arch, the videographers stopped by and said, “I don’t know how you keep them fresh all day.” I wish I had filmed their reaction when I told them the entire arch was 100% silk 🤭 We did add on fresh flowers on the aisle and centerpieces but that arch doesn’t have a single stem of fresh flowers.

Every year, I level up by replacing pieces that don’t look as realistic and bringing in more refined, high-quality faux flowers. There’s a lot more that goes into this than people think. It’s not just about where I buy flowers from. I source from many places, but only keep the best quality.

So I’m curious, can you tell the difference? 👀

If I had to rate my own work, I’d honestly say this was the best arch I created last year, made for Clarissa and Ryan’s wedding. And if I told you this arch is 100% silk florals, would you believe me? Because 10-years-ago me wouldn’t believe it.
I grew up in a family that does fresh flowers for a living; and to this day I still believe silk can’t fully replace real blooms. In fact, I even added fresh flowers to other arrangements at their wedding to achieve their exact color palette when faux couldn’t deliver. But this arch? It’s entirely silk.
And honestly, the technology behind today’s faux florals still blows my mind.

Thank you so much for capturing these gorgeous photos. Without you, we couldn’t explain to everyone else how beautiful this day was.
