We had a huge flood here on the creek over the weekend, and saw new heights in the water level. However, everyone here is fine, and the Ranch is doing great!! Thanks for checking in on us!!

Thanks for checking in on us at the Ranch. The flood didn't damage the property on the creek(but it is still overflowing).

Unfortunately, as we have been seeing in the media, homes and property around the Blanco took a bad hit. Let's hope not too much more flooding will happen over the next week.

Thanks again,

Hope to see y'all at the Ranch!

About us

Gumbert's Cypress Acres Ranch is a working ranch located in the heart of the Texas hill country, south of Austin near San Marcos. There are three cabins to choose from that back up to the spring-fed, crystal-clear waters of Cypress Creek. Enjoy swimming, hiking, relaxing...

just get out in nature on a woody hill,

'tis quiet and peaceful and all is so still,

where the hum and roar of every day strife,
