Labor Day Co****le Tournament: 5 teams battled. The Fairfield and Metrick teams were eliminated in the early rounds. Ultimately, the Diaz family in the Lakeview Yurt snagged the win, with the Mogren's from site 25 a close 2nd, and the Gazo-Sprague team (from sites A12/14) rounding out in 3rd. A beautiful partly cloudy day for the Labor Day Fishing Derby. The fish, unfortunately, were not very cooperative. Good job to all the anglers for working hard, but Teddy was the only successful fisherman, catching a 9-inch Perch. Thanks to everyone for spending your final summer holiday weekend at Lakeside.

The Lakeside Campsite of the Month has been re-crowned! Congratulations to Ms Jodi in site T-17. Again, there are tons of intricacies in the site that you really need to stop and pause to appreciate. She is also the caretaker for site 35 1/2 across the street. Thank you for loving your site and bringing joy to everyone around.

A huge shout of THANKs to all of the family, friends & residents of Lakeside Campground in Windsor NY, for organizing a summer-long fundraising effort which culminated in a terrific spaghetti dinner with silent auction last week, to benefit the Stand With Me veterans.

All of the good folks at Lakeside have raised a record high amount of funds to help our veterans at a whopping $4,574.00. Enough to FULLY FUND a veteran’s journey through our program, including up to 2 years of training lessons and all necessary training & grooming equipment.

It is so heartening to experience so many good people out there with kindness & generosity in their hearts.

Lakeside is incredibly happy and proud to present $4,574 to Stand With Me Assistance Dog Team Training. It has been an incredible season of fundraising for this awesome local non profit organization. We would like to send out a HUGE thank you to ALL of our campers for their support and donations. Also, an extra special THANK YOU to all of our seasonal campers for their wonderful donations and support. We definitely couldn't have done it without ALL OF YOU!
