Winesburg, Ohio founded in 1827, the most famous little town from here to Chicago.
This is a review left on Airbnb.com about "Christi's Hideaway Cabin "

Glenn and Christi were perfect super hosts. The cabin was perfectly decorated and comfortable. The outside setting was very nice with a picnic table, a fire pit, swing, bench and a place to sit on the porch too. And lots of pretty red flowers. Christi was there personally for our check-in and she went over things thoroughly about the cabin. Glenn was a fantastic tour guide for some Winesburg history. And their (watch kitties) were outside to make sure we had company, so cute!

Christi, you and Glenn made our stay in Winesburg a trip to remember. You both made us feel very welcome in your "only small town that's famous from here to Chicago." The cabin was just perfect for us. Thank you so much.

This cabin really is in the heart of Amish Country! If you enjoy being in the country, but close to everything you could visit, this is the place. We loved having coffee on the porch each morning. Half a block away is a great breakfast cafe. We even walked to the ball ground to watch a softball game! And those were the early morning and late evening entertainments, after exploring Amish Country all day. Extra clean, plenty of room for the 2 of us. We Airbnb alot, and this place exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend you book this cabin if you like peace and quiet, but still want to be close to Berlin, Sugar Creek, Mt. Hope, and so much more. The extra touches inside the cabin - soft towels, and plenty of them; extra soap; enough lamps and overhead lights; roomy mini-fridge; cute decor; comfy sleep number bed; extra soft sheets; easy-to-use TV remote. Christiane has gone out of her way to put all these "little" things in place, and it makes for a very comfortable, relaxing visit.

Christi's Hideaway Cabin was closed this winter. We are taking reservations for April through December via Airbnb and Trip Advisor!
