Saturday got a bit wet for a few groups at The Bird’s Nest. It cleared up though and everyone was able to get their birds. We were fortunate enough to be able to get a photo of this rainbow over the fall colors. What a great opening weekend. Hopefully everyone else had as much fun as we did!

We have been getting ready for our upcoming hunting season. Take a look at how things are looking so far.

A few years ago we switched a big part of our hunting ground into CRP. Part of this program requires us to clear the ground at least once during a three year period (we have been cutting and bailing). It has been a fun challenge to manage clearing the ground while still leaving enough ground to hunt.

Got our season off to a great start last week. Had a gentleman and his wife come stay with us for a couple of nights before spending a morning hunting to check a South Dakota Pheasant Hunt off of his bucket list. Then we got to spend the week with Homesteaders Life Company. We are blessed to have such great customers.
