We would like to thank everyone that stayed with us for this sold out weekend, we truley appreciate your business. Now that most of our extended stays have moved into the beautiful new HUB we are excited to welcome back our regular guests and new guests alike. Due to this mild winter, traveling conditions have been much better and summer is just around the corner. We are working hard at getting our beautiful pool back up and running by May, we will keep you posted on opening day events. We understand that there are workers that still need extended stay rooms and we do STILL offer them on our block side of the complex. The weekly rate is $352.80 which includes all taxes and fees, we are happy to rent weekly or monthly (employment as a driller or mine worker. contracted labor, union, etc required in most cases) and no pets are allowed for extended stays. Nightly rentals pets are welcome at no additional charge.. Another exciting item is we are renovating all our apartments located on the back side of pur property. These units will be rented with a 6 month or year lease and the first ones should be ready the first part of March. Lots of updates going on and I can not wait to see where we are at the end of 2026. Thank you so much to everyone that has made this happen and my one of a kind staff that brings a new meaning to the word excellence.

We are so excited to announce that our new convenience store "The Retro Mart" is scheduled to open next week. We are hoping this will make things a bit easier for our extended stay guests as well as our regulars, and nightly guests. The new large cooler will be stocked with all kinds of drinks, sodas, energy drinks, Powerades, milk, tea, etc.. The Mart will also carry a variety of dry goods, chips, candy, dips, nuts, and much more. I am working on getting a soda fountain installed that will offer a variety of fountain drinks. The hours of operation will be the same as the office hours for now but may be adjusted at a later date as necessary to best meet our guests needs. There will be suggestion box to let us know about any items you would like us carry. This will be a wonderful addition to our motel, we hope you will agree.

Another piece of exciting news is our food trailer is getting a new paint job and is set to open by the middle to end of August. The hours will be 2:30am to 6:00am for breakfast, offering freshly made extra large breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches and donuts. There will be made from scratch salsa, coffee, juices, and energy drinks. Dinner will be served from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and will offer a rotating menu with new items every week along with local specials and theme nights. Everything will be prepared from scratch with fresh meats and vegetables (never frozen). We are very excited to have Pavel as manager, Pavel presently works as a chef at the Griddle. We are so luckly to have him on our team!!

We are working on a name and would love your help, keep in mind we are going with a retro theme to stay within our motels retro feel. If you have any suggestions or comments please post them, I can't wait to see what ideas you come up with.

The trailer will not be moving but will be set up in our lot across the street from the motel. We are putting in a patio with lights, dinning chairs, and large awning for your dining pleasure. I will post pictures as things progress. I will also be posting our rotating menu with all the specials for each week. Pavel wants to offer many different kinds of foods from various parts of the country like, Texas, New Orleans, Louisiana, New York, just to name a few. As time goes by we will also be taking suggestions and requests from our customers, all ideas are welcome.

What a great 4th of July 2025!! Thank you to all our guests who enjoyed it with us, we hope our little thank you hot dog bar was a hit. I would like to take this time to say THANK YOU and WELCOME to all our extended stay guests. Scott Shady Court is at 96% occupancy and we are beyond greatfull to each and everyone of you for making that possible.

Update on pool: We are working hard to get her up and running again. As we progress we are finding other things that are in need of repair and we want to do do this project right this time so it is slowing down our progress a bit. Please keep in mind that doing all the repairs (even small ones) now will insure years of uninterrupted enjoyment later. It is a slow process but one that must be done right.

Another bit of news: We are in the process of adding a small convenience store, the name is going to be "The Retro-Mart". It will not be a huge one but we will carry
things like, sodas, energy drinks (we are also working on getting a soda fountain) small food items, candy, etc. At some point b**r & w**e. In addition we are adding a mail pick up area. It is my hope that having these available to our super hard working extended stay guests will make their lives a little bit easier.

Amelia my housekeeping manager also offers a laundry service at a super reasonable rate, if you are interested please let the office know and we will have her contact you.

The entire staff of Scott Shady Court is so excited to announce our pool is almost ready to reopen after the devastating reverb job that forced us to close the pool. The surface is being restored as well as the entire decking around the pool. We are shooting for a July 4th reopening!!!! Pictures to come!! In addition to the pool area our patio has been updated with all new funiture and BBQ grills. Another exciting upgrade is our new massive WIFI upgrades. These upgrades will consist of new equipment through out the entire property and super fast internet speeds. This new system is sure to be welcomed by all our loyal guests and new ones alike. A new small country store is also in the works, it will carry drinks, chips, snacks and food items for our extended stay guests and travelers alike. Our food Truck is next on the list and we are hoping for a October opening date. Sending out a huge thank you to all our supporters who have made all these updates and improvements possible. It has taken a while but we finally have a honest, hard working staff with years of experience in their fields and who care deeply about the motel. Every guest weather short term or long term is their top priority.

We are moving so fast that we now have a part position open for a additional front desk agent. If you are interested please email your resume to [email protected]. This position will start out with 2 days a week but in time that could increase. Experienced only apply. We do a background check and drug testing.
You will be working directly with the office manager. The hours to start would be 2pm to 8pm Sunday and Monday. We are looking for an immediate hire, start date to be May 6th. Pay will be D.O.E.. possibility of insurance after 6 months of employment with excellent attendance, and work ethic.
