For those of you who are wondering!! The water level at crooked creek is still to low to launch a boat, mainly jet boats and prop boats !! Please do not listen to what people are saying.... The water level needs to be a minimum of 2233 or more.... Thank you

Hi everyone,
It is December 5, 2022.
I want to give updates on Crooked Creek. I know there is 12 inches of ice with about 6 inches of water under the ice, this was drilling from fake Anderson point all the way to squaw creek! No depth to speak of. I also know the Army Corp is ramping up the out flows from 5,000 to 6,000 so that's gonna hurt us even more down there. So with that being said, ice fishing at Crooked Creek is a no go.... Sorry for the news. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hi everyone,
It is September,27,2022 I want to let everyone know that I will NOT be renting cabins out for the hunting season or ice fishing season. The marina is and will be closed for the foreseeable future. Sorry for the news how ever the camp ground is open and useable year round. Thank you all for your support take care.

Hi everyone who follows the Crooked Creek Marina page. I first of want to say thank you all for the support at Crooked Creek maybe one day it will thrive again but I don't see it happening anytime soon because of the water situation. So from here on out Crooked Creek Marina will be Closed !!!! How ever I will have 2 cabins available to rent out, you will either have to call 406-366-6313 or 406-464-2321 for information on them. I wish things could be different but unfortunately this situation is not gonna change. I did buy Bohemian Corner gas station and convenience store so stop by and see me.

Hi everyone,
Today is January 15th 2022.
Some of know the water situation on the Missouri river basin and Fort Peck reservoir and how the water levels have been extremely low due to drought and water miss management! I am asking for all of my friends who pay attention to Crooked Creek Marina's page or recreate any where on The Missouri river basin to include Fort Peck and beyond! please look up the 2008 master water plan for Fort Peck. This plan is going to be revised the 20th of January by the Army Corp Of Engineers and we all need to voice our opinion on how Montana needs to have enough water held back all the time so our marina's can operate year round, farmers/ranchers can irrigate and people can recreate year round as well. So with that said once you get on their page scroll down to the bottom and there will be a phone number to call In to listen to the meeting or a web site to leave your comments. This water plan needs to be changed to benefit everyone on the Missouri river basin not just down stream. Please leave a comment Crooked Creek cannot survive another year of no water. Thank you

Hi everyone,
It is December 16, 2021 and I want to give ice updated at Crooked Creek. So the river has some ice on it along with snow. No one has made it out yet!!!!! So with that being said this year at Crooked Creek ice fishing is going to be extremely difficult because it's going to be river fishing only !! There is no water in the bay, the corp has decided to let more water out again and this started 5 days ago so depths in the river are going to change along with a faster current. I feel that if you have decide to come to Crooked Creek to ice fish and are a first timer or new to the situation PLEASE RECONSIDER IT IS GOING TO BE A DANGEROUS SITUATION IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA HOW THINGS FLOW AROUND THERE !! Please don't think that I don't want you there it's all about safety and for you to go home at the end of the day or weekend so if you have a cabin rented and want to cancel give me a call at 406-366-6313 or 406-429-2999. Now for you seasoned guys and gals the marina will be open only when people are there for cabin rentals mostly on the weekends, I will not be carrying any kind of bait so bring it with you, I will have the typical stuff in the store and gas, I am sorry that's how I have to do it this year. Hi Everyone,
I am just letting you know I am going to open back up for hunting season and ice fishing season. There is not enough water to launch any kind of boat so please don't ask!!! Hi everyone
Today is July 21st 2021. I just want to clear the air about a statement released Monday about Crooked Creek! Those who know me know that I do not joke around when it comes to safety and looking out for the best interest of people that use Crooked Creek . With that said the Army Corp released a statement saying that people can launch boats but have to use extreme caution at Crooked Creek!! This is not true!!! After doing some calling around I did get ahold of a person in the Army Corp and was told they took a jet boat from bone trail to crooked creek last Thursday and while coming across the bay sucked up quite a bit of mud but did make it to shore and had 1.5 feet of water. Now keep in mind THAT IS A JET BOAT NOT ANY BOAT!! Also I was there on Sunday and the water is still dropping so PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO LAUNCH ANY BOAT FROM CROOKED CREEK BOAT RAMP.

Hi everyone,
Happy 4th of July. I have decided to close the marina the 11th of July!!!! So for anyone that has stuff in storage you need to come get it this coming week or during the weekend. There is no more number pad so if you can't make it then you will have to call 406-366-6313 and we will have to hook up on a weekend. Thank you.

Hi everyone,
Today is July 3rd 2021 and I wanted to give a report on water levels and fishing here at Crooked Creek. Well first off the fishing is great! All kinds of fish being caught out of boats not much bank fishing going on. Secondly the water level in the bay is 1.4 feet!!!!! People are still launching, but keep in mind that another week of 100 degree weather the level is going to be around 1 foot or so. I will be open next weekend and am going to make a decision on if I am going to keep the marina open. So if you have cabin rentals or just want info please call 429-2999 or 366-6313.
