Dear Guests, Friends, and Followers of Sky-Vue Lodge:
We are honored to introduce Derek and Kristen Gans. Derek and Kristen spent their honeymoon at Sky-Vue in the year 2000. Over the years they have visited several times as their family grew. Late last summer they returned for a short stay and our conversations turned to futures and dreams. One thing led to another, and we began talks with the Gans family to take over the active management and proprietorship of Sky-Vue Lodge. As the Jorgenson's era comes to a close and the Gans' begins, please give Derek, Kristen, and their four children a warm welcome.
Glenn and Janice will continue to live on the Sky-Vue property to help the Gans with their transition, so you will continue to see them from time to time especially during breakfast, as Derek and Kristen learn to make cinnamon rolls and other Sky-Vue favorite foods. Glenn and Janice are looking forward to spending more time with their grandkids.
The lodge and cabins will continue to operate as a bed and breakfast for the foreseeable future. With some fresh ideas, younger muscle, and renewed vision, we look forward to seeing Sky-Vue operate to it's 100 year mark and beyond. Come experience your backporch view of the Ozarks for the first time or the fourth. We look forward to you meeting the Gans soon.
