Built in 1907 as the private residence of Henry Fries Shaffner, the co-founder of Wachovia Loan and Trust, this extravagant Victorian-style mansion boasts Tiger oak hand-carved paneling, original coal-burning fireplaces, a grand staircase and priceless antiques. This 8-bedroom inn is perfect for quiet nights away or corporate and private events. Located in downtown Winston-Salem, it is walking-dis

tance to a multitude of the city’s best restaurants, bars and shops. Our hours are Tuesday - Friday, 8 am-11 am and Saturday & Sunday, 8 am-2 pm. Our specialty items include New Orleans style shrimp and grits, Texas Pete Honey Chicken and Waffles and Chefs Choice Avocado Toast (changes weekly).
