Silver Spruce Resort. A hidden gem along River Road in Wisconsin Dells. Nested between downtown and Route 13. If you are looking to get away and recharge then this is the place to do just that. Stay to enjoy the solitude and the beautiful trees and unplug from the busyness of everyday life. A place to immerse yourself in the heart of the Dells.

Downtown Dells is only a short drive to partake in the tourist attractions and the nightlife activities. We didn’t miss a thing. Had a wonderful meal at their Rubbs Steakhouse and enjoyed great conversations by the fire conveniently near our room. It was more like a cabin feel than a hotel, which made it homey. Everyone was very hospitable, welcoming, and very friendly.

Discovered two great hiking trails nearby: Dells of the Wisconsin River State Natural Area and Richard Crandall Forest. Both had a wonderful view of the Wisconsin River. Beautiful.

Have been visiting the Dells yearly for the past 25 years and the Silver Spruce Resort is on my top ten list of must dos. Unplug, relax, and get away from everyday life for a week or so. You’ll thank yourself. Oh, don’t forget to bring a bag of marshmallows. :-)
