Autumn Harvest Fest tomorrow!

The Scarecrow Stuffing Contest at Autumn Harvest Fest is one of the most popular events during the weekend. Held on Saturday, October 13th from 1 pm - 4 pm, the first 100 people can participate by creating their very own scarecrow. Our media judges award prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Our swallows have raised their second nest of chicks for the year and are wrapping up the summer. We are grateful for the swallows every year; they eat the mosquitoes!

We had quite the storm this morning, around 3am. My rain gauge tells me we were hit with 3.5 inches of rain! That will make the grass happy! Don't worry, though, Vacationers--the weatherman says that tomorrow will be sunny!
