Thank you to Adam Passineau for making sure Le Chateau 's driveway was plowed! My husband and our son was out digging all the inches we accumulated of snow and Adam was driving by with his plow! Thank you so much!

As we enter the last day of the year I want to celebrate the 136 years — and counting that this home and impactful space has had.

Built in 1889, this home was the first in the area to have electricity, a telephone, and working plumbing. From the very beginning, it was a place rooted in innovation, connection, and forward thinking.

But what has always mattered most isn’t just what’s inside the walls — it’s who fills them.

In 2025, this home continued to do what it has always done best: bring people together. Conversations, laughter, shared meals, quiet mornings, and meaningful moments — each guest adding another chapter to a story more than a century in the making.

Whether it was a guest stay, a special event, or a meaningful moment worth gathering for, being part of those experiences — and the impact they had on our family as well — is something we’re deeply grateful for.

As we close out this year, we’re incredibly thankful for everyone who walked through these doors and became part of this home’s living legacy.

And as we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to welcome guests back once again.

136 years strong — and still welcoming what’s next.

✨ A little quiet online, a lot of life at home — and big things ahead ✨

September 30, 2025 wrapped up our year of bookings in 2025 — not because we didn’t want to welcome more guests, but because this season called us home.

With family trips and a full fall ahead, we chose to slow things down intentionally. October was spent traveling through Italy and Germany with our children, letting them see more than just one spot in the world, learning, exploring, and creating memories together.

Then in November, Rachael traveled to Miami, Florida for work and took our oldest to Disney for the very first time — a once-in-a-lifetime memory that will always hold a special place in our hearts.

You may have noticed we’ve been a little quiet here, too. The truth is moments were happening that weren’t being captured. Life was being lived fully, just off camera, and that time was something we’ll always be grateful for.

This house has always been built for memories — and for a while, it got to hold ours.

As the holidays surround us, we’re feeling incredibly grateful for every guest, every story shared here, and every moment this home has been part of. We hope this season brings you warmth, rest, and joy wherever you are celebrating.

Now, as 2026 approaches, we’re reopening our doors for stays, gatherings, and special events. Our website is up and running again, and the link can be found in the About section here on Facebook.

We cannot wait to fill this home again with laughter, connection, and new memories. We’re dreaming up exciting experiences, welcoming guests near and far, and opening the calendar with full hearts.

Walk through the front doors on January 17th & forget who you are! Enter into a Casino Mystery and eat delicious food, have a new identity and have fun being someone else!

Don't forget to register for the last few spots for our annual murder mystery experience! I don't normally open these to the public however I have a few spots left!

Thank you so much for all that stayed with us in 2024! 👏 we appreciate you so much for supporting our family and enjoying the history this bed & breakfast offers!

In 2025 we are looking to expand on our breakfast menu and add in more delicious ideas! We are looking to add some more amenities but we'd love to hear from you on this as well!

Give us suggestions for 2025 that would make you excited to come experience le chateau! We would love to hear from you! 🎁
