We had our first Veteran in the cabin last night, they truly touched my heart. ❤️

They were 2 brothers, Roger and Gordon, going on a hunting trip together.
Sadly, Roger (the veteran) is battling cancer and had part of his liver removed this summer so this was a very special trip for them as brothers.
They brought the kids a board game and were a pleasure to talk to and get to know.

They were so appreciative of everything they donated $100 towards Chris's daughter Islas savings fund.

This Veterans Day,
We would like to extend our thanks to and honor the Greener Family from my hometown of Elko, Nevada.

This year they have gone through unimaginable loss when they lost their brother, son, uncle, father, veteran who was deployed alongside his brother Dustin, and one of my favorite people to have walked this earth, Chris Greener.

In honor of the Greener Family, and my personal way of saying thank you for your friendships, grace and a shining example of love you've extended to everyone who needed it through your loss, we are happy to offer free 2-day stays for Veterans and/or their families for the rest of November.

Thank you to all those have served, sacrificed and continue to sacrifice.
