Hoge Lodge No. 8 is proud to recognize and congratulate this year’s recipient of the Stuart Rose Memorial Scholarship, Brett Childress.

Brett has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of his hard work, dedication, and commitment to his future. He will be attending University of Virginia's College at Wise majoring in biochemistry.

Investing in the next generation is something we take seriously, and it is an honor to support students like Brett as they pursue their goals and work toward making a positive impact in the world.

We wish him continued success in his academic journey and all that lies ahead.

The Pit-Master Masons of Hoge Lodge #8 have both smokers fired up today for our annual Easter Ham Fundraiser! We have several members of Pound Lodge # 59 here as well to assist us in smoking hams for a separate fundraiser for their lodge! Altogether, 125 delicious double-smoked hams will be prepared and sold.

Hoge Lodge No. 8 was proud to attend the Division Education Leadership Conference held at the Higher Education Center in Abingdon this weekend. Our lodge made a strong showing by bringing our entire line of officers to participate in the day’s discussions, leadership development, and fellowship with brothers from across the region.

It was an honor for our officers to be recognized during the event, and we were especially proud to take a photo together with Most Worshipful Matthew Szramoski. Opportunities like this strengthen our lodge and help prepare our officers to better serve our brethren and our community.

We are proud of the dedication shown by our officers and look forward to putting what we learned into practice back home at Hoge Lodge No. 8.
