We're expecting some snow here at the cabin, in the next couple of days. if anyone likes to ski, the Sierra Alta ski resort is 20 minutes up the road. They have lots of snow up there, already

Winter is here at the cabin this week rain for two days .now it may snow just a little .and possibly more days a few days. Mountain tops all around have quite a bit of snow on them ,the ski resort is most likely opened. good time for a winter hideaway with a loved one .come for a stay on Airbnb

The wildlife up here is amazing. This bobcat comes around very often. surveillance camera caught him just this morning. There's a wonderful private trail on the property goes about a half a mile I have affectionately named it Trail of 1000 boulders boulders. The property is littered with 100 ton granite boulders. that too is quite a sight.

MORE WEATHER REPORTS FROM TOP OF THE WORLD. WINTER IS HERE .NOW FREEZING LAST FEW DAYS ALMOST. 35° THIS MORNING, AND POSSIBLY SNOW UP HERE AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS around LAKE ISABELLA. THURSDAY JUST POSSIBLY. AND IT ALWAYS MELTS IN A DAY OR TWO. COLD BeREr . AM FEELING THE COLD .WE'VE BEEN HAVING SUCH A MILD TRANSITION FROM THE HEAT OF THE SUMMER TO THE COLD OF THE WINTER IT'S USUALLY VERY ABRUPT WITHIN THREE WEEKS IT CAN GO FROM 90° STRAIGHT DOWN TO 45 IN THE DAYTIME AND STAY THAT WAY FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. SINCE I'VE LIVED HERE THIS IS BEEN THE MILDEST TRANSITION of weather. and I like it. you know what I was thinking about . what if I were to put a accessible We**am overlooking the lake from this property I don't know the logistics or how the ski resorts do it ,but I often look at the mammoth We**am. as a professional nature photographer who would normally be driving from Monterey .I would look at those even in the summertime to see if there was a lot of smoke in the air as Owens valley holds a lot of smoke ,-for months. from just one little forest fire. or worse. So before I took the 7 Hour Drive from Monterey .I would make certain that I could get beautiful nature shots .without bad weather. it was a routine I did for eight years. So if I had a We**am from this spot for all to see , and if it would promote my vacation rental Top of the world/ Airbnb.business. it would be a generous gesture on my part. to the world ..why should I hold all this natural splendor, right .Alta Sierra ski resort is literally 15 minutes up the road. I wonder if they have a We**am. these are things that you can broadcast to the general public I just don't know enough about it. anybody have any ideas. what it would take. rules . technical difficulties . And all that jazz.

Winter is feeling like it's finally here ,cloudy and 35° this morning. Next week it's supposed to get high 60s. I stayed up here at the house for a few days this week. when it's cold out it's so nice to wake up and jump in the hot tub .and as I am always upgrading with renovations throughout the day I also like to jump in the tub at the end of the day. Guests were just here for Thanksgiving, I hear they had a great time. And now another guest showing up today for a few days. The house has a great central heating unit so it stays nice and cozy. I have not yet gotten back to sculpting the two mountain lions at the front door .I'm hoping next week to get back into that. That's the news from Lake Isabella at the top of the world -rental house.

Hello anyone. Thought I'd share some information about this short term vacation rental, above Lake Isabella. I am Kris, move from Monterey to Lake Isabella. Five years ago. bought two very dilapidated house and rundown properties. Renovated both. turned one into this Airbnb. Put a lot of personal touches ,as I thought I was going to be living here. this was to be my home. And inspired workshop. As I am a master craftsman, ex personal gallery owner. Ran my own gallery in Carmel. right downtown, for a few years. Where I showed my Bronze statuaries, paintings, and photography. With the views here it's hard not to be creatively inspired .as a host I have had hundreds of people stay here. I often get to meet them. as I usually check people in personally, give them a quick tour. Really enjoy hearing about other peoples interests . and what made them decide to come to this vacation spot. I often tell people- this truth, the side benefit of renting such a beautiful place, is seeing the smiles and the excitement of the people who have come to stay. I get to vampire some of their amazing energy ,while we talk about how excited they are to be here with this Expensive view. I've lived in the house for well over a year while I personally did all the construction. Never hired a single laborer. right now I'm working on sculpting two front entryway, California mountain lions. They are half done. I will be showing photos and telling people how it goes as time moves forward. There is a lamp post life sized brown bear ,greeting people at the top of the driveway . I sculpted that two years ago. I will get better at sharing on this post -business page. its all new to me. but I do like to share.
