Did you know South Dakota is home to The World's Largest Pheasant? Standing 28 feet tall and weighing 22 tons, this iconic roadside attraction in Huron has been a symbol of the state’s rich hunting heritage since 1959.

Perched proudly on top of a building, this massive bird celebrates South Dakota’s title as the Pheasant Capital of the World and draws visitors from near and far. It’s a must-see for anyone passing through Huron — and a great photo op for your next adventure!
