We need to fight these Data centers with everything we got. We need to protect our water system. They'll come in saying they'll have a closed loop water cooling system then change right before they open.

Please attend the Emmet County Board of Commissioners meeting Aug 20 at 6 pm. The Board will discuss, and hopefully, approve, a resolution to delay Data Center permits in our county until March, 2027 to allow time for this complex issue to be sorted out. We need as many people present as possible to get this done. Consider speaking at the public comments portion of the meeting. There are board members who may oppose this so they may need to recognize what their constituents expect of them. We need to protect our beautiful county!
