"We were looking for nice getaway from the city life with our 5 month old son, and were not disappointed! Our first word arriving at the cottage was WOW! The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the property. Kathryn couldn't be there for our arrival, but she had everything arranged to make our stay smooth and comfy. The cottage was very clean and organized, the kitchen very well equipped and the property very well maintained. Although our stay lasted just 3 nights, it felt like 2 weeks of proper relaxing time, which is always a great feeling.”

"We really enjoyed our stay in the middle of the redwoods. This place is so peaceful and relaxing, the view from the deck is gorgeous. The cottage is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The entire family had great time. Our 4 years old really had a blast watching deer and birds from the deck. "It's a beautiful, peaceful hideaway amongst stunning redwood trees. The cottage is beautifully furnished with everything we needed and more. I especially loved seeing a deer with her fawn just feet away in the garden and watching the many visiting birds. "The cottage is beautifully decorated and is in a wonderful location for relaxing. The redwoods in the yard and area are amazing and the views are breathtaking. Twice we saw deer right in the yard drinking from the bird bath. The hot tub, porch, and picnic areas are added benefits to the landscape. The hostess emailed us the day of our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed before we arrived. Information for everything about the cottage and stay is included in a notebook which is very helpful. This place is charming!!! Being from upstate New York it's hard to impress us with nature being that we are somewhat spoiled in the Adirondacks, but being in the redwoods on this hill here certainly did.
