Because the Edgewood Inn is located in the Pike National Forest, you can access fantastic hiking and biking trails right outside our door. The top trails close to the inn feature a mix of tranquil forest walks, scenic reservoir views, and rugged Pikes Peak overlooks:

Lovell Gulch Trail: This popular 5.2-mile loop trail is located right at the edge of Woodland Park. It features a mix of meadows, pine and aspen groves, and sweeping ridge views of Pikes Peak.

Rampart Reservoir via Rainbow Gulch Trail: Just a short drive north of Woodland Park, this is an easy, 3.7-mile out-and-back trail with a gentle path that takes you right to the beautiful shores of Rampart Reservoir.

Manitou Park Lake Trail: Located about 20 minutes from the inn in Pike National Forest, this is a highly rated, 2.5-mile loop trail that offers a peaceful, scenic walk around a picturesque mountain lake.

Catamount Reservoirs (North Slope Recreation Area): A moderate 7.9-mile out-and-back route that provides stunning, up-close views of the Catamount reservoirs with Pikes Peak towering in the background.

Today at Edgewood Inn, we pause to honor the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage is the foundation upon which our freedom is built.

As we look out over the peaceful mountains today, we carry a deep gratitude for those who are no longer with us and our hearts go out to the families they left behind. May their legacy of service never be forgotten.

We couldn’t imagine a more perfect backdrop for this tender forehead kiss—the soft mountain air, the pines as far as the eye can see, and a love that’s just beginning.

Our hearts are full!

There is nothing we love more than hearing that our couples felt like family during their time with us. A huge thank you to Josh for these kind words about their September wedding:

“We had our wedding there 9/27/25 and we could not recommend it more highly. Not only did we get incredibly lucky with the weekend we chose, but Dean and Kathy were amazing hosts and treated us like family. We did not have a wedding planner, but with their recommendations of Caterer and DJ, the whole weekend ran seamlessly. We stayed the whole weekend and were treated to Kathy's incredible and generously portioned breakfast spreads each morning. None of our guests went hungry. Although we cannot say enough great things about Dean and Kathy, the venue itself was beautiful in its own right. The view from the porch where we did our first looks, to the covered outdoor space below, gave us the best backdrop that we could have asked for. If you're looking for a venue that is as spectacular as its hosts, we could not recommend a better place. Thank you, Dean and Kathy!”
