Before The Glen, it was an 1800s homestead.

Back in the late 1800s, this quiet aspen valley became one of the first homesteads in the area, built by hand, log by log, with grit, faith, and a deep dependence on the land.

The original hand-hewn log cabin still stands today, preserved as part of Aspen House at The Glen. You can still see the original outhouse in the backyard and you can still visit the old well, and all these years later, it still flows 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Glen is a living piece of mountain history, tucked among springs, granite, aspens, pines, trails, and stillness.
