Rogue Trout Retreat is a brand new, private, primitive (for now) fishing/camping destination located in Woodlawn, Virginia just over the line of the Virginia State Maintained Fee Fishing Area and Wildlife Reserve along the famous trout waters of Crooked Creek. d allusive brown trout fishing waters of Crooked Creek. There are many shaded fishing areas along the banks, a private island that sits in the middle of the creek, deeper fishing holes to find the real "rogues", and a tiny branch that could be hiding a few as well! Pitch a tent, or park anywhere you'd like within boundaries - but be mindful of our wildlife and of your fellow rogue-seekers! Hunting, horseback riding, wildlife watching, hiking and more fishing are available right across the property lines, within walking distance from your campsite! (proper licenses are required, an absolutely no hunting of any kind is allowed on RTR grounds)
