Welcome to our Victorian Mansion built in 1899 by F.B. Merrill on the former site of a house built by Marlow A. Smith in 1873 that burned in fire three years later. We are located in the village of Woodstock, Vermont. Park your car and walk to the village green, numerous art galleries, boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. Rates include our three course breakfast, served at private tables in the dining room.
We invite you to be our guest in the tavern for a complimentary glass of our house wine in the afternoon between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. on the day of your check in. We offer a full service bar to our guests. Our tavern is open until 8:00 p.m. for you to purchase a drink to enjoy throughout our property or grounds. We have a beautiful patio area with a pond and water features for our guests to also enjoy along with a comfortable front porch.
All our beautiful Woodstock, VT Inn rooms feature private baths, color cable television, Turkish cotton towels, luxury linens, complimentary wireless internet access, hair dryers, individually controlled air conditioning and heat, Poggesi of Italy bath products, iron and ironing board. Our suites have mini fridges. Guests liken us to a boutique hotel.
