🐻Many thanks to Smokey Bear for his recent visit to Woodward Cave alongside Millheim Fire Company #1.

Smokey got to explore the cave while also teaching kids the importance of fire prevention. Oh yeah, and kids got to ride on a real fire engine!🚒

We have free live music on the front porch staring the talented Mijangos Duet. Fan-favorite food truck Solid Gold Concessions makes their final visit of the summer. And of course we have free evening cave tours for kids 12 and under, plus gem panning and lawn games for the whole family!

🔍🧭Calling all Junior Scientists!

Bat Night is a real science opportunity for young kids and the whole family to interact with real Pennsylvania bats alongside real bat biologists. Best of all, it's completely FREE!

All day activities include crafts from our great friends at Lincoln Caverns, hourly presentations from world-renowned bat biologists, and engaging fun projects.

🦇🦇Plan to stay late into the evening when bat behaviors start to pick up. Hands on activities include swarm-trapping demonstrations where you can see real bats up close guided by trained biologists, plus take a ride on a one-of-a-kind SonoWagon to listen for flying bats!
