Boot Scoot n Boogie LLC

1) E-Scooters rental operations would only be allowed within the public R/W from Friday through Sunday each week. The exception will be during downtown events, when scooters will not be allowed.

2)The scooter operator will display contact information on each scooter for complaints and service.

3)Scooters will only be allowed to operate on streets, not on sidewalks.

4)The scooters will not block sidewalks, causing obstructions to building access, or facilitate safety issues with pedestrians or vehicles.

5)Otherwise, they will be treated as other personal mobility devices, such as bicycles, for expected operations and enforcement.

Announcement: City Council has approved our scooters to be in Wooster! You will see our scooter out and about 6/26. Thanks Wayne County for your support. We're looking forward to seeing everyone enjoying them!💚 We ask that make safety #1 and you park them respectfully. Not in the direct way of foot traffic, respect pedestrians, businesses and residential properties! This is a trial run till the end of summer/fall.

Hello everyone, just wanted to tell you a little bit about what's going on with "Boot Scoot n Boogie". We've noticed a lot of questions and concerns, so here are a few facts.

We are local entrepreneurs, just starting out. Some people may know us... The name of our business is Boot Scoot N Boogie. We purchased our scooter out right from an on going company (PEEL). We only use their app to operate our scooters. "PEEL" is based out of North Carolina but has no rights over "Boot Scoot n Boogie". Our prices are fare, being only $1 to unlock and .30 a min after.

For the past 3+ years we've had traveling jobs and decided to start a business of our own. After some contemplating and brainstorming, we came to this great idea here! We wanted to be a part of our hometown but also bring something enjoyable. At the same time this generates more people to come check out more of our local businesses around town...

We launched on May 13th, 2023 and it was a success! Lots of people signed up as we were setting them out. We were unaware that we didn't have the 100% of the councils approval. So, they are currently off the streets.
