Its time for the fall leaf clean up. Having fun! We have a very colorful season! Since we have our very own resident groundhog now, we're figuring out what to name him. Guess he likes it here! 😃

So I thought I would read the Pit and the Pendulum once again. However, I do not recommend reading it before bed. OK it gave me nightmares, no surprise there. What was I thinking???? 😱
Definitely won't be doing that again!!

Have to start re-reading Dracula by Bram Stoker to get in the spooky October groove.
I like it better than Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.
The Body Snatcher by Robert Louis Stevenson is a great one too. Loved the 1945 movie with Boris Karloff.
And let's not forget Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde by Stevenson as well.
I guess finding one of the doors of our antique triple door bookcase open this morning kinda got me in the mood! It seems we have a spirit hanging around who likes to read! Its funny cause I haven't seen that door open for quite a while. It was happening a lot about this time last year. I finally put a wedge in the door. Now get this, the wedge is still there and the door was open this morning. Figure that one out. It must be acting up again because its almost October. I'm going to have to think of a name for this spirit.
