Today, three amigos took a little journey back to the western plains at 6am with a pot of coffee a few mugs, and we raised a teepee at Zia Rojo Casitas as a tribute to the spirit of the American West and our nation’s 250th year.
From the very beginning, the vision for Zia Rojo Casitas has been to honor the rich tapestry of the American West—from the wide-open plains of Wyoming to the colorful landscapes of New Mexico. Through color, texture, art, and design, we’ve tried to celebrate the heritage of the American cowboy and the traditions of the Native Americans who shaped this remarkable land.
There is something timeless about standing beneath Wyoming’s endless sky. It reminds us that history surrounds us—it’s woven into everything - prairie grass, the wind, dry landscapes, and across the horizon.
We proudly call Wyoming home, but on an even grander scale, we are grateful to call America home. As we celebrate 250 years of our nation, we’re thankful for the beauty, freedom, and enduring spirit that make this country unlike any other.
