August may be over but summer doesn’t end until September 21st!

September is a great time for a lakeside get away. The crowds are gone and the temperatures are a little cooler but the days are warm enough for all the outdoor activities including kayaking, fishing and swimming.

Pollinator Garden is in full bloom!
I can’t believe that just 3 summers ago this was all lawn. Now I have hundreds of native plants supporting the bees, butterflies and birds. It all started with an idea and a shovel.

We are always making improvements to the property and this season one of our big projects was replacing the original cement with an updated path and an outdoor cooking station with multiple barbecues. It took a lot of time and work to break up and remove the cement and set the pavers. There is still work to be done but the completed patio will be enjoyed by renters and family for many years to come.
