We just wanted to take a moment to talk about long-term camping, we currently have full-hookup 30-amp sites available for long term renters at $569 per month with metered electric service.
These spacious sites are located near our fishing pond, swimming pool, game room, as well as everything else we have to offer.

We hope you all are having a fantastic fall season! Our regular camping season may be at an end for the year, but we are still open for monthly and long-term campers.

We currently have Full Hookup monthly sites available for $600 per month with metered electric.
Yearly sites are also available for $569 per month with metered electric.

Hello Campers!

We have installed a brand-new water slide on the pool for our customers to enjoy! Come see us and be one of the first people to try out our newest addition to the campground today! Swimming is included when staying with us, and the pool is also available when buying a visitor's day pass for $5 per person. In addition to the pool and slide, our day pass also includes access to our game room and playgrounds.

In other parts of the country you might hear them called "hollows," but here in Central Appalachia we know them as "hollers." Our mountainous, hill-covered region of Appalachia is full of small valleys, some following a waterway, where many people have made their homes for generations.

Celebrating its 20th year, our charity ride presented by Virginia Housing has added new gravel routes on which you'll find yourself winding in and out of hollers, some in remote forest areas, others in areas that folks call home.

The Hills and The Hollers Gravel Grinder features three routes of varying distance and difficulty. Today we're revealing our first official route, The Hills and The Hollers Dirty Thirty. It's 36.7 miles long and includes 2 mountain climbs with 21 miles of the route paved and 15.7 miles unpaved!

The route begins at Deer Trail Park & Campground Inc and features an immediate 10.5-mile gravel stretch. Be ready for an early morning, 1.5-mile climb up Little Walker Mountain before ascending Crawfish Valley and into farmland on mostly remote, forest-covered roads. From there you'll ride through Wythe County farmland along the base of Little Walker Mountain toward Crockett Cove, where you'll find a 2.5-mile climb up Little Walker Mountain, crossing briefly into Bland County. The route concludes on a quick, mostly flat-to-downhill ride on Little Creek Highway through the Jefferson National Forest before ending at Deer Trail Park & Campground.

Good Morning Campers!

We hope you guys are as excited as we are that summer is almost here! We look forward to seeing everyone here enjoying everything the campground has to offer.

As you all know, Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching. We still have some water/electric RV sites, tent sites, and cabins still available for the holiday weekend, so be sure to book your reservation ASAP and come enjoy the holiday with us!

The pool will be open to our campers and local guests with day passes from Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend. Come see us and enjoy swimming in a peaceful setting!
