☘️☘️☘️March is upon us! Holly and I will be celebrating "Irish American Heritage Month" with Irish themed diners at Grassy Creek Vineyard & Winery on the 14th and Golden Road Vineyards on the 28th. We are continuing the practice of offering "Full Irish" breakfasts this month. As always, fresh breakfast pastry, like the Jambon's pictured here, or scones, muffins, or perhaps a coffee cake. Our "Paddy O'Benedict', a house made farl with rashers, poached egg and a avocado butter hollandaise. We source our breakfast meats from Dublin, Ireland. We bake our own farl and make our own boxty. To our guests, "céad míle fáilte!"☘️☘️☘️

The ancient Holiday of Samhain, a day of the dead, marking the begining of the dark days of winter, where the dead were allowed to return for a day, originally a celtic holiday, embraced by the church as "all hallows eve", halloween!

The pastry was not served, the boys on the porch are not real, we embrace the fall, the holiday!
