July is when Cape Cod turns blue, pink, and white. The Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival starts today (July 10) and goes through July 19. This self-guided garden tour takes you across the region at $5 per garden, and the proceeds support local nonprofits. It is one of our favorite reasons to wander the Cape in summer. We put together a guide to help you plan, and Yarmouth Port makes a lovely, central base for chasing the blooms.

Happy Fourth of July. Two hundred and fifty years, and the light and beauty in Cape Cod can still stop you in your tracks. However you spend today, whether near the shore or close to home, we hope it's a warm, easy, and relaxing weekend.

Due to a recent cancellation, our Grays Beach room is now available for guests seeking a Cape Cod getaway over the holiday weekend and beyond.
Located on the main level, Grays Beach features a king bed, a spacious layout, an updated private bathroom, and views of historic Route 6A and our beautiful 300-year-old oak tree.
