We are located on 77 acres in Woodson County, KS. We have cabin rentals and full hook up RV sites and we are open year round!

We drew for five couples today and those couples have been notified. If I haven’t replied to you please know I’ve read every single one and my heart has a burden even more now for marriages. Todd and I are planning some events and retreats for couples and we will be announcing it soon.

We have 21 couples signed up for 6 pm, 19 for 7 pm, and 7 for 8 pm for a grand total 94 ribeye! We can’t wait to serve you. See you tomorrow night! 🥩

We have a busy week here at Still Waters Edge Retreat.
Wednesday night is couple's date night. We have over 40 reservations at 6, 7, & 8 so please come at your time to give the couples before you time to eat and visit.

Thursday night is MUSIC BINGO again! We have been getting started closer to 6:30 and you can come and join in anytime. It's a lot of fun!

Saturday night is Harmony Hill Farmstead and Band from 6-8! Come listen to some great music with this wonderful family band. Make sure and bring a chair!

Sunday we will have our Sunday buffet with fried chicken, beef & noodles, and all the trimmings and the salad bar.

Lunch specials this week are:

Tuesday - Chicken bacon ranch wrap with the side of your choice
Wednesday - Chicken Philly
Thursday - Strawberry balsamic salad
Friday - Double smash burger with grilled onions smashed between the burgers

Update! We had another generous donor donate to another couple so we will draw for FIVE couples tomorrow! You all are awesome!

The stories you all are sending me! I’ve been reading to Todd for a while and praying for each of you. If there’s one thing I know - you are not alone in your marriage struggles! I was not expecting so many and wish I could gift you all a dinner date with your mate. Still waters grill will be donating free meals for 2 couples, Todd and I will be donating for one and we had a generous follower offer to donate to another couple. Wow. God bless this lady! So we will draw for four couples tomorrow at noon for a free meal for Wednesday date night. And I’m going to bed asking God to show me how we can help strengthen marriages here at Still Waters. Love you, friends. Don’t give up! There is hope. Todd & I are living witnesses to that.

I have had something on my heart for a few days now and I’m going to share. One of the most lonely feelings in the world is to be in a marriage that is struggling and it seems everyone around you is so happy in their relationship. Todd and I have been there where we put on a good face for the world but at home we wanted to kill each other and we fought all the time. Let me tell you we still have our days and the greatest lie the devil tells you is you’re the only one going through this and everyone else is happy. Listen there’s no perfect marriage and I think Todd and I could probably write a book on all the things we’ve done wrong, but by God‘s grace, we are getting some things right. We would like to offer a free meal on date night to someone who is struggling in their marriage and just needs some time away. We aren’t asking you to comment on here just private message us. I will randomly draw tomorrow one couple at noon tomorrow from the ones who private message me. And I will message you privately so no one will know.

Fellas, we know you don’t know how to plan a date night. We know you want to but it’s just a lot of work trying to be romantic. Oh wait - that’s Todd Stiffler’s line. Sorry. I know the rest of you are great at date night planning. 😉 But just in case you need a little help - we’ve taken all the planning out for you. (Except the babysitter. You’ll still have to do that.) Make your reservation by noon tomorrow - Monday June 1. We added an 8:00 pm slot, also. We have 38 couples signed up so far so call us and get on the list and let us help you out! Then after dinner take your girl on a walk to the pond if you’d like or just porch gather with friends! Did I mention there will be candles and red wine? 🍷

Every weekend for the last few weeks we’ve been having what I call “porch gatherings” and I love it so much. It’s nothing planned - it’s just groups of people - some who don’t know each other at all and some who randomly meet here and say “hey! I ain’t seen you in a while” and some who come together and just hang out outside for a while. Last night was no exception and it makes me smile every time. This is why Still Waters Edge Retreat was created. Gatherings. I thought it fitting that one of the couples last night has camped with us and it was their first time visiting the Grill. We will be adding an outdoor patio soon with more seating, a fire pit, and gathering time. Don’t worry, we will have a place to sit your drinks, or your cigar, or even just kick your feet up. We are big believers that what this world needs is more porch gatherings and less politics. Friends in the making on The Grill’s porch. ❤️

Our Sunday Buffet is getting busier and busier and the masses have spoken today. You want the fried chicken so every Sunday we will have fried chicken on the buffet. We also have someone starting next Sunday whose only job will be to stock the salad bar for you. Whew boy, did you all like the salad bar today! Our crew did an amazing job at keeping up today while we fed over 260 of you! It's a new Sunday record! Thank you! We are already ordering for next week to make sure we don't run out of food.

Have a wonderful week and don't forget to make a reservation for couples date night Wednesday night by noon MONDAY! We have 34 couples signed up so far. We added a time spot of 8:00 so give us a call to reserve a spot for you and your sweetheart at 6:00, 7:00, or 8:00.

Today is our Sunday buffet and we will have fried chicken (hand breaded and fried here in our kitchen), Salisbury steak in brown gravy, mashed potatoes & gravy, creamed peas (made with real heavy cream like your grandma made them) hashbrown casserole, cheesy broccoli, corn, rolls, the full salad bar, and several options for dessert including peach cobbler and strawberry pie!
